In June I made a trip to the North East to combine two shoots in one visit. The first being a workshop shoot at Middleton Lodge, and the second being this gorgeous sunrise shoot at Saltburn beach.
The shoot was initially arranged by myself and fellow bridal designer Kate Fearnley, as a celebration of independent, British bridal design. We quickly enlisted the help of talented photographer Natalie Pluck, and invited Hayley Neil of eco bridal brand Rolling In Roses to join us.
After a 3.30 am start (yes, 3.30 AM!), we met at Natalie’s house for make-up and hair by the fabulous Laura Mac and Amelia Rose. After an hour or so of trying very hard not to wake Natalie’s poor husband we made our way to the cold, cloudy beach. Despite the weather the shoot was beautiful and the team were amazing.
